Mission Statement

BRAVO (Black youth Reaching to Achieve in Vocal and Orchestral music) Company, Inc., a nonprofit enterprise, was organized in August, 1996.  BRAVO is a community-based, integrated group of young minority students from both public and private schools in the Coastal Empire.

BRAVO'S GOALS

·to help pupils realize their potential in music through the performance of classical, semi-classical, Early-American, jazz, gospel, and spiritual selections

·to provide individualized instruction, and summer workshops

·to provide a unique experience for students who have some training in music, but for various reasons   cannot participate in their school music activities

Parent Advocacy Group Goals

·plan yearly supportive activities

·formulate committees to implement  activities

·recruit supporters

·recruit interested and talented youth to the BRAVO program
